YOU ARE RELEVANT
In the Dictionary, Relevant means appropriate to current time, period or circumstances. Another dictionary defines the word Relevant as having a bearing on or connection with the subject at issue. Th relation of something to the matter at hand. Bearing means the direction or Path along which something moves or along which it lies. The purpose of this article is to let you know that you are relevant.
Being Relevant means you have a connection, it means you have a bearing and having a connection means a relation between things or event. Do you have a connection or relationship with things or events around you or are you just a passer by ?. Do you have a connection or relationship at Work, in School, in Church or Mosque, in your Neighbourhood , amongst your peers, your contemporaries , in the community you find yourself. This is what it means to be Relevant.
How do you impact lives around you and make yourself available when there are events in the community you find yourself ? Do you contribute or you just keep shut. When you leave that group, what will you be remembered for? You have to be known for something. Not just anything but something good . If you are an authentic person, people need to know you for that. if you are someone that lightens up a place with your sense of humour, let people know you for that. Do not be part of the people that say “let me just go and when they are done, I will be on my way out”. I want to say to you today, “Be Relevant”.
BE RELEVANT
Be Relevant is a verb and has a Dictionary meaning. It means to belong, be connected, apply, be characteristic of, be part of, be pertinent, be proper, be relevant, bear, have to do with, pertain, refer, relate, touch upon,vest, matter etc.
You didn’t come to this world to be a passerby, you are created for a reason. The holy book said, “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is Heaven”. You are a light to the world. Are you causing your light shine? Are you dimming your light by your own actions, deeds and words.
Do not think you are created for yourself. No you are created to brighten the world and make an impact. People need to see your good works and good deeds? people are actually watching. You inspire people you don’t even know. Is God being glorified through your good works and deeds? Another version of the bible says “you are here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept”. Use your God’s given gifts to touch and impact lives. Do not keep shut. Allow people see your light shine. The world is awaiting your Manifestation. BE RELEVANT!
